Eric O'Dell (born June 21, 1990, in Ottawa, Ontario)
is an Canadian junior ice hockey forward. He was
drafted by Anaheim Ducks, in the 2008 NHL Entry
Draft and 39th general choice. Before O'Dell,
Anaheim has drafted Jake Gardiner and Nicolas
Deschamps. The 39th choice, the 9th in the second
round, originally belonged to Phoenix Coyotes along
with 35th general choice, the 5th in the second
round. Anaheim Ducks traded this two choices to its
27th general one.
O'Dell took his 2007-08 season playing junior hockey
in Canada, where he spend half into CJHL with the
Cumberland Grads and the other half in OHL's Sudbury
Wolves.
