Kristopher Rudy-Charles Jenkins (born August 3, 1979
in Ypsilanti, Michigan) is an American football
defensive tackle for the New York Jets of the
National Football League. He was originally drafted
by the Carolina Panthers in the second round of the
2001 NFL Draft. He played college football at
Maryland.
A two-time All-Pro and three-time Pro Bowl
selection, Jenkins played seven seasons for the
Panthers before being traded to the Jets in 2008. He
is the older brother of Green Bay Packers defensive
tackle Cullen Jenkins.
Both he and his brother played at Belleville High
School under Bob LaPointe.
