DeDe Dorsey (born August 1, 1984 in Broken Arrow,
Oklahoma)is an American football running back who
currently plays for the Cincinnati Bengals of the
National Football League. He was originally signed
by the Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 2006.
He played collegiately at Lindenwood.
He attended Lindenwood University where he played
some defense, and had seven career interceptions. As
a senior, he rushed for 841 yards, and nine rushing
touchdowns. He signed with the Indianapolis Colts on
September 3, 2006. Dorsey played in Super Bowl XLI
for the Colts, helping them win 29-17 against the
Chicago Bears. The Colts waived Dorsey on September
1, 2007. On September 25, 2007 he signed with the
Bengals. He is currently the third string running
back for the Bengals and has 175 yards this season,
on 20 carries. As of December 15, 2007 he leads the
NFL with 8.8 yards per carry.
