David Carr   October 7, 2007 August 24, 2007             David Duke Carr (born July 21, 1979 in Bakersfield, California) is an American football quarterback for the New York Giants of the National Football League. He was originally drafted by the Houston Texans first overall in the 2002 NFL Draft. He played college football at Fresno State. Carr spent five seasons as the Texans' starting quarterback, but was later released from the team after the 2006 season.
