Michael Cole Mussina (born December 8, 1968 in
Williamsport, Pennsylvania), nicknamed Moose, is a
Major League Baseball starting pitcher currently
with the American League's New York Yankees.
He is fifth among all active pitchers in wins (250),
shutouts (23) and complete games (57), seventh in
strikeouts (2,661) and innings (3,357.3) and batters
faced (13,749), ninth in BB/9 IP (2.018), and tenth
in win-loss percentage (.633). His 250 wins are the
most by any pitcher never to have a 20 win season.
