Chad Ryan Billingsley (born July 29, 1984, in
Defiance, Ohio) is a Major League Baseball
right-handed pitcher with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
As a senior at Defiance High School in 2003, pitched
in 11 games and was 6-1 with a 1.49 ERA, striking
out 113 and walking only 16 in 56.0
innings...pitched three games and went 3-0 with a
2.45 ERA for Team USA, which won the bronze medal in
the 2002 IBAF World Junior Championships in
Sherbrooke, Canada...would have attended the
University of South Carolina had he not signed with
the Dodgers...signed by Dodger scout Marty Lamb.
