Armando Benitez   August 21, 2007               Armando Germán Benítez (born November 3, 1972 in Ramón Santana, Dominican Republic) is a relief pitcher in Major League Baseball for the Toronto Blue Jays organization. He is known for his once lively fastball, which in the past reached 100 MPH, and his crafty splitter.
