Alfredo Amézaga Delgado (born January 16, 1978, in
Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, Mexico) is a Major League
Baseball utility player for the Florida Marlins. He
is nicknamed "The Amazing Amezaga" because of his
ability to make great defensive plays.
Amézaga, who was drafted one spot ahead of Albert
Pujols at 401st overall in the 1999 Draft, made his
Major League Baseball debut with the Anaheim Angels
on May 24, 2002.
